On the Job Icelandic: Waiters is a mini-course intended for foreigners working as waiters in Iceland, with no Icelandic language learning background.

The aim of this mini-course is to enable students to communicate with their customers in Icelandic, by learning useful sentences, pronunciation and basic grammar. Grammar is linked to vocabulary pertinent to the job, and forms a base for further studies, independent or otherwise.

The course material is made up of slides with texts, pictures and exercises. Students are led through the course by a teacher, presenting new vocabulary, demonstrating pronunciation and explaining the relevant points of grammar.

Audio files with new vocabulary, conversations and exercises are embedded in the slides.

The audio files, as well as the course slides themselves, can be played as often as needed.

On the Job Icelandic: Waiters comes with two complementary micro-courses:

- Icelandic alphabet and pronunciation, and

- numbers and amounts.
